PNW Collegiate Leadership Conference 2017: Generation Activism
The Pacific Northwest Collegiate Leadership Conference is the largest student leadership conference in the region, and this year a selection of the conference’s interactive workshops will be livestreamed.
The 2017 keynote speaker for the PNW Collegiate Leadership Conference, Rudy Francisco, is a spoken word poet. As an artist, Rudy is an amalgamation of social critique, introspection, honesty and humor. He uses personal narratives to discuss the politics of race, class, gender and religion while simultaneously pinpointing and reinforcing the interconnected nature of human existence. Rudy seeks to create work that promotes healthy dialogue, discourse and social change.
Two of the livestreamed workshops included in this conference are “Self-Care and Self-Compassion for Busy Students” and “Student Leadership Challenge: Using your potential to achieve extraordinary things.”
