CCGRS Lecture Series: Protecting World Treasures from War


Dr. Joris D. Kila, an internationally known expert, will discuss ways to rescue artifacts from extremist groups during a public address at WSU Pullman. Dr. Kila is a member of the U.S. Combat Commands Cultural Heritage Action Group and chair of the International Cultural Resources Working Group. He has worked to rescue artifacts in such countries as Libya, Egypt and Iraq.
