Microaggressions are verbal and nonverbal exchanges that put down an individual, intentionally or unintentionally, based on their membership in a marginalized group. WSU professor, Dr. Lisa Guerrero, will speak on the types of microaggressions, their causes and real-life consequences as well as methods to interrupt microaggressions.
